NPORS Road Roller – Test Only

The NPORS Road Roller Test Only option with Entra Training is designed for experienced road roller operators who are already competent and only require the NPORS practical assessment to gain or renew certification.

This option does not include training and is suitable for candidates who have sufficient knowledge, skills, and on-site experience to meet NPORS assessment standards, current health and safety legislation, and industry best practice.

Who is this course for?

This option is suitable for:

• Experienced road roller operators

• Operatives with previous training or substantial site experience

• Workers who only require the NPORS assessment

Test content includes:

• Pre-use and safety checks

• Machine controls and instrumentation

• Safe travelling and manoeuvring

• Rolling techniques and compaction operations

• Working around site hazards and other plant

• Stability awareness and vibration considerations

• Shutdown and securing procedures

Duration:

Approximately half to one day, depending on candidate numbers and site conditions.

Certification:

On successful completion of the assessment, candidates will achieve the NPORS Operator Card for Road Roller.
CSCS logo available where required (subject to eligibility).

Entry requirements:

• Sufficient experience operating a road roller
