About the Course

Our three-day NPORS Telescopic Handler course provides practical training in the safe use of a telehandler. Delivered at Entra Training’s centre in Wetherby, the course combines theory with hands-on experience, preparing you for the NPORS theory and practical assessments.

What Will You Learn?

• Operator responsibilities and safe working practices.

• Pre-use inspections and basic maintenance.

• Machine controls and operating functions.

• Load charts, lifting capacities and machine stability.

• Safe travelling with and without a load.

• Picking up, transporting and placing loads at ground level and at height.

• Working around pedestrians, other machinery and site hazards.

• Safe parking and shutdown procedures.

How Will You Be Tested?

You will complete an NPORS theory assessment and a practical test to demonstrate your knowledge and ability to operate the telehandler safely.

Certification

Successful candidates can obtain NPORS certification through the Traditional or CSCS card route. Please confirm which card you require when booking so we can advise on the relevant requirements.

Course Requirements

The three-day course must be suitable for your level of experience. Please let us know your previous telehandler experience when booking.

Bring photographic identification, safety boots, a high-visibility vest or jacket, and a hard hat.
