CPCS A59A 360 Excavator Above 10 Tonnes (Tracked) – Test Only

The CPCS A59A 360 Excavator Above 10 Tonnes (Tracked) Test Only option with Entra Training is designed for experienced operators who can already operate a tracked 360 excavator safely and competently and only require the CPCS technical tests to gain certification.

This option does not include training and is suitable for candidates who have sufficient knowledge, skills, and on-site experience to meet CPCS testing standards, current health and safety legislation, and industry best practice.

Who is this course for?

This option is suitable for:

• Experienced 360 excavator operators (above 10 tonnes, tracked)

• Operatives with previous CPCS training or substantial site experience

• Workers who only require the CPCS theory and practical tests

Test content includes:

• CPCS theory test (verbal or written)

• CPCS practical test, including:

  • Pre-use and safety checks

  • Machine controls and instrumentation

  • Safe travelling and manoeuvring

  • Excavating, loading, and grading operations

  • Working near hazards and within confined areas

  • Stability, slew, and radius awareness

  • Shutdown and securing procedures

Duration:

Approximately 1 day, depending on test availability and candidate numbers.

Certification:

On successful completion of the CPCS theory and practical tests, candidates will achieve the CPCS Red Trained Operator Card (A59A – 360 Excavator Above 10 Tonnes, Tracked).

Entry requirements:

• Valid CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test (within the last 2 years)

• Sufficient experience operating a tracked 360 excavator above 10 tonnes
